Currently I am working on two new websites.
dotdotdot.ca for Jessie McPhee and Joleen Ballendine’s sketch/improv hybrid group, that was looking for a website specifcally to inform audiencesand connect fans with new video content and show information
qelsey.com is an online portfolio website for Qelsey Zeeper. She was looking for an attractive, updatable site that could display high resolution photos, while at the same time look edgy and interesting.
Please let me know what you think of the mock-ups that I did, all feedback is useful.

Just (re)found a great freeware standalone game that I played for a long time (which is quite rare for me) about two years ago.
Over 4.5 Million registered drivers, including me.

A substantial, but small, group representing Canada, on a National Level.
Nadeo released TrackMania Nations partly as a promotion for the Electronic Sports World Cup, and also for TrackMania itself. This free, stand-alone game has one new environment, Stadium, and many features also in Sunrise, including the advertisement panels, which show ads from sponsors streamed from the internet. The game contains 100 single player tracks, the earlier ones relatively simple in both design and gameplay, but it is largely pitched as an online game. One of the main attractions is the leader board, in which people compete for the best times and points. The top 5 players can be seen on the homepage. Nations has earned an extremely high popularity (there were almost 1 million registered online players within weeks of its launch), in large part due to the wide accessibility of the freeware game.

Getting into the design and implementation of info vis…. especially jeffrey heer
The work on collaborative visualizations is inspiring, this is the future. I imagine Google Wave integrating with something like this, similar to Wolfram Alpha, to connect people to ideas and figures.
Both the Flare and Prefuse Visualization toolkits are available to download and play with, for free, only problem is that I am some what lacking the background to get into these packages.

I really enjoy application (re)design, this article outlines some of the major problems associated with the process.
It is amazing how unintuitive some user interfaces are, how some companies can get it so wrong, when there are so many users ready to beta test.
